Reasons why I love living in Maine

The other day, I told a friend of mine that home is where you wish you were when you are somewhere else.

I guess I’m lucky in that I have two homes: Hawaii, and Maine. And I’m especially lucky that I live in at least one of them year-round. Maine is an incredibly peaceful, lovely place to live.

They don’t call it “Vacationland” for nothing.

Here are some of my own photos highlighting a few of the reasons why I love living in Maine…

  1. Great photos Karina. The sunsets are wonderful. I’ll take New England in general, at least north of the Mass. boarder, over pretty much anywhere else. The ocean is close, the mountains are close, what’s not to like.

  2. Wonderful pics! Love the oriental lillies! Watching the sunsets, smelling the oriental lilles, and taking in the ocean breeze. I think I want to go to Maine now too :D
