The other day, I told a friend of mine that home is where you wish you were when you are somewhere else.
I guess I’m lucky in that I have two homes: Hawaii, and Maine. And I’m especially lucky that I live in at least one of them year-round. Maine is an incredibly peaceful, lovely place to live.
They don’t call it “Vacationland” for nothing.
Here are some of my own photos highlighting a few of the reasons why I love living in Maine…
The view down my driveway…
The beach after a storm…
Waffle Saturdays at one of my favorite little coffee shops, Seed & Bean
Walks on the beach with my hubby just after sunrise
Maine’s State Treat: Whoopie Pies!
Critters along your driveway
…and more sunsets.
Going to the beach to watch those sunsets
Everyday views–this one looking out the window of our favorite library
Driving along the coast of Maine–and all the gorgeous homes that you see there
