A balmy summer evening on the coast of Maine – © 2012 Karina Chapman
.
We went out for ice cream at a new favorite stand this evening. This is a favorite family pastime in summer; ice cream may technically be yummy all year ’round, but it never tastes quite as good as when you’re hanging out in an Adirondack chair on a balmy summer evening in Maine.
You know what I mean?
On our way back home, we glanced over and saw the moon was just rising. It had that gorgeous golden glow.
Ahh. Perfect ice cream weather.
Aloha!

Posted by AlohaKarina | July 5, 2012, 9:15 pmBeautiful. I’m not sure exactly where you are in Maine, but we used to camp every year (when I was a kid) at Point Sebago. It was so beautiful. Maine is just a gorgeous state!!
Posted by fiztrainer | July 6, 2012, 9:40 pmWe live in southern Maine, in York county along the coast. But I think pretty much anywhere you go is gorgeous.
Sebago is awesome–we love it up there, too!
